Yale tour guides come from all over the globe and together represent just a small percentage of the passionate, involved, and academically-oriented students in the undergraduate program. Whether they are telling you about research projects with their favorite professors, explaining history behind Yale’s collegiate gothic architecture, or sharing stories about late night adventures with suitemates, you can trust these Yalies to give you the inside scoop on student life.

Every undergraduate at Yale belongs to one of twelve residential colleges, each a microcosm of of the University.
Residential colleges are headed by a Master and a Dean, and each has an independent library, dining hall, common room, and gym, as well as facilities such as a movie cinema and printing press.
Here are the shields that represent Yale’s twelve residential colleges.
